NEW SOUTH WALES
Head Coach: Brad Fittler

- New South Wales produced a dominant display in Game II to tie the series and head to ANZ Stadium as big favourites to retain their crown as they easily got the better of their rivals in Perth.
- Coach Brad Fittler was likely to name an unchanged side for the Blues following such a convincing display after he changed half of his team for Game II but his hand has been forced and he has had to make two alterations here.
- Mitchell Pearce will come into the side for the injured Nathan Cleary at halfback whilst the Blues have also recalled David Klemmer after he recovered from a wrist injury and will take the place of the suspended Tariq Sims.

- Queensland have it all to do after a poor display in Game II and will need a huge turnaround in performance to claim the Origin series as they travel to ANZ Stadium to attempt to produce an unlikely win.
- Corey Norman will make his Origin bow in place of the injured Kalyn Ponga whilst Christian Welch will also debut for the Maroons from the bench as they look to add more size to their pack.
- Joe Ofahengaue will certainly do that as he returns from injury to line up in the front row at the expense of Dylan Napa whilst Jarrod Wallace is the other man to make way after a disappointing performance in Game II.
THE PREDICTION
New South Wales were too good for Queensland in Game II as they levelled the Stage of Origin series and ensured that Game III was not a dead rubber. Their pack was too big, quick and dynamic for the Maroons and after such a dominant display, they can back that up on home soil to claim the series. New South Wales coach Brad Fittler was heavily maligned for his decision to make so many changes for Game II but his plan worked a treat and it would be a big surprise if his side were unable to see out the series here.
