- Despite being ranked 19th in the world, New Zealand will feel they can upset the odds and progress to the knockout stages but a strong start is needed as they face the Netherlands in their opening game.

New Zealand’s preparation for this tournament has not been ideal with an inconsistency in their performances costing them the results they were hoping for but a win in their opening contest over the Netherlands would help put all of that to bed. The Orange Lionesses will be tough to overcome however and coming into this tournament on the back of three wins leaves them in good form with the Netherlands able to edge this one.
