Araz-Naxcivan vs Aris Thessaloniki prediction

Azeri Premier League side Araz-Naxcivan are, as mentioned, debutants to UEFA competition this season after they finished third in the Azeri Premier League last season, having only been-promoted to the top-flight in Azerbaijan as recently as the 2022/23 campaign.

They now face an Aris Thessaloniki side that, coached by Marinos Ouzinodis, finished fifth in a competitive Greek Super League last season. They have some notable names in their squad, such as Carles Perez, Uros Racic, Gabriel Misehouy, Robin Quaison and Tino Kadewere.

Aris have much more European pedigree than their rookie opponents but this first-leg, especially away from home, is expected to still be quite a hard-fought encounter.

Araz-Naxcivan vs Aris Thessaloniki tip: Aris Thessaloniki to win & under 3.5 goals
