THE PREDICTION
Despite a huge win over Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day, New Orleans Saints’ hopes of clinching the #1 seed in the NFC have suffered a massive blow ahead of their Week 17 clash with Carolina Panthers. RB Alvin Kamara was incredible against the Vikings as he ran in for six TDs but he will now be forced to sit this game out after testing positive for COVID-19. To make matters worse, his fellow RBs have also been forced to isolate which is likely to mean a different role for QB Taysom Hill who could fill the void in the backfield. The Panthers were victorious against Washington Football Team last week but will be eager to see the back of this seaosn. They have been without star RB Christian McCaffrey for the vast majority of the campaign and with backup Mike Davis also out here, the 5-10 Panthers are unlikely to come out on top despite the issues of their opponents.
