Aleksander Vukic vs Emilio Nava prediction
Aleksander Vukic made the second-round of Wimbledon for the third straight year but fell to a heavy defeat to world number one and eventual champion Jannik Sinner. His best result was a semi-final appearance at the Estoril Challenger on clay. Vukic’s form on hard courts this season has been rather troubling, as he lost eight matches in a row on the surface after his credible run to the third-round of the Australian Open in January.
Emilio Nava has picked up three titles on the Challenger Tour this season, but almost exclusively competes on clay. He did compete at Wimbledon qualifying but lost to Dominic Stricker in the first stage. He has lost his two previous matches on hard court this year.
Vukic will hope to return to winning ways on hard court after a thoroughly disappointing run during the earlier part of the year and we back him to do so.
