AEK Athens vs Hapoel Be’er Sheva prediction

Greek giants AEK Athens, coached by Marko Nikolic, finished fourth in the Greek Super League last season. The were in this competition last season but suffered a shock defeat to Noah in the third qualifying round after they had defeated Inter Club d’Escaldes in the previous round.

Hapoel Be’er Sheva finished third in the Israeli Premier League last season and they are already heading into their second European tie of the campaign. In their opening game, they suffered a shock elimination from the UEFA Europa League at the hands of Levski Sofia on penalties after a couple of goalless draws in both legs.

Hapoel Be’er Sheva have shown themselves to be lacking a quality in the final third, and AEK with their home advantage would have to be viewed as favourites for this one.
