AEK Athens vs Anderlecht prediction

The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League playoff round tie saw Anderlecht and AEK Athens share a 1-1 draw with each other at Lotto Park in the Belgian capital city of Brussels last week. Kasper Dolberg opened the scoring in the 21st minute for Anderlecht, before former Bristol City man Niclas Eliasson equalised for AEK mid-way through the second-half, and then Petros Mantalos was sent off for the Greeks late on.

Since then, AEK have defeated Panserraikos in the Greek Super League at the weekend, an excellent start to their domestic campaign. Anderlecht, on the other hand, have started the 2025/26 Belgian Jupiler Pro League season with three victories and a defeat.

Anderlecht head to the Greek capital with some real hope, but in the hostile atmosphere of playing in Athens, siding with AEK would be the way to go for this one.
