Adelaide United come into this one on the back of a dip in form as they fall behind Auckland in the regular season title race. With both first and second choice goalkeepers sidelined alongside several key defenders, the hosts come into this one on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Sydney in New South Wales last weekend. They now face a Melbourne City side that come into this having recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Macarthur a couple of weeks ago due to a second-half strike scored by former Olympique de Marseille striker Valere Germain. They have now suffered back-to-back defeats since a seven-match unbeaten run of form. The visitors will hope to take advantage of an open Adelaide side and both teams scoring would therefore appear a good bet for this one.
