Wales vs South Africa prediction
Given how poor the last couple of years have been for Welsh rugby, there were actually some positives to be taken from their 52-26 defeat to New Zealand last weekend, with the hosts scoring four tries against the All Blacks in Cardiff.
With this match falling outside of the designated international window, Wales head coach Steve Tandy is limited with who he can select. Injuries aside, a number players have been recalled by their club sides, Louis Ress-Zammit included.
South Africa have the same issue, but they are far better equipped to deal with such shortcomings as they look to end the year with a seventh straight victory.
The Springboks were too good for ill-disciplined Ireland in Dublin last week, winning 24-13 to add to their November victories over Japan, France and Italy.
The world champions will simply be too good for a weakened Wales side here, and should be comfortable victors at the Principality Stadium.
