France vs Fiji prediction

France head into Round 4 at the top of the Northern pool. Galthie’s side have 12 points from three games after the July tour, losing 34-32 in Christchurch to New Zealand before winning 42-26 in Brisbane against Australia and 42-15 against Japan. They picked up a try bonus point in each game and finished the window with 116 points scored and 75 conceded.

Fiji are bottom of the Southern pool with no points from three games and a points difference of minus 96. They lost 39-24 to Wales in Cardiff, a game in which they got to within a point in the second half, then 73-8 to England in Liverpool after Kuruvoli was sent off before half-time, and 33-17 at Murrayfield, where they led Scotland 17-7 at the break. There are signs of a reset under White, who was appointed in October and oversaw a 34-28 against Japan in Tokyo, reversing the defeat by Japan in the Pacific Nations Cup final in September.

We expect a comfortable France win, so rather than the plain result, we are backing France to win by 20 or more points.
