Angela Hill: Can "Overkill" roll back the years and score a vintage victory?
Despite posting a UFC record of 13-15 over the course of more than a decade with the promotion, Angela Hill (18-15) is still widely regarded as an indispensable staple of WMMA. While the Muay Thai specialist has undoubtedly lost a step in recent years when it comes to her trademark speed and cardio, Hill has fought a who's who of killers during her time with the UFC. Notoriously difficult to finish, "Overkill" has shared the cage with Rose Namajunas, Jessica Andrade, and Mackenzie Dern to name but a few. She enters this contest off the back of a disappointing loss to Iasmin Lucindo by decision in August.

While many were quick to scream "fraud check" after she lost her UFC debut to Jasmin Jasudavicius, Fatima Kline (8-1) has been nothing short of superb since her first appearance in the promotion. "The Archangel" rebounded from her loss to Jasudavicius by elbowing Victoria Dudakova into oblivion in her very next fight, before scoring a highlight reel head kick KO over Melissa Martinez to earn herself a tidy Performance of the Night bonus. At 25, the American still appears to have considerable room to evolve her game; an exciting prospect for the 115 pound shark tank.

A staple of the division for more than a decade, Hill's days as a consistently reliable underdog pick appear to be finally nearing an end.
The American's last fight against Iasmin Lucindo was exactly the type of contest that the "Overkill" of old would have been favored to win by crafty underdog decision, leaning on her volume and cardio to win down the stretch. Unfortunately, Hill looked like she was playing catchup from the first bell, with many justifiably positing that her long career has finally caught up with her.
By contrast, Kline has the look of a future top contender. She's proven capable of hanging tough with one of the better names in the division in Jasudavicius and she's vastly improved since then. Case in point? While her subsequent strength of schedule has paled in comparison to her debut opponent, "The Archangel" has still completely destroyed everybody else that she's fought in the promotion since.
While it would be the most "Overkill" outcome imaginable for her to score the upset, the gulf in age, athleticism, and momentum simply seems too great for Hill to overcome here. Kline wins in dominant fashion, potentially even securing a late stoppage.
