World number 53 Tatjana Maria beat Martina Trevisan in straight sets on Saturday for an excellent opener but the 36-year-old should struggle to make Rybakina’s power in this first encounter. Maria is creeping ever closer to snapping her WTA career-high of 46th set in 2017, which would be a massive achievement at this stage of her career, but it would be a surprise to see anything other than a straight-sets win for Rybakina here.
