World number 81 Saisai Zheng won her first and only WTA title to date at the San Jose Open back in 2019. The 27-year-old has lost to the eventual finalists of two of her last three tournaments in Camila Osorio and Courmayeur Open champion Donna Vekic, with a three-set victory over rising star Clara Tauson in Tenerife a vastly impressive result. She faces world number 111 Martina Trevisan after the Italian qualified well as the second seed this week. 28-year-old Trevisan made a stunning run to the quarter-finals of Roland-Garros on her debut back in 2020 but she has yet to win a first round match at the Australian Open. This match could go either way but with three sets likely take Saisai Zheng to win at least one of them.
