THE PREDICTION

World number 31 Tomas Martin Etcheverry is just one place behind his career-high set this summer when he reached the quarter-finals of Roland-Garros on his favoured clay as he continues to improve elsewhere. The 24-year-old beat Sebastian Korda and Andy Murray in three sets at the Basel indoors last week before an equally impressive three-set defeat to eventual runner-up Holger Rune to suggest he could be a dark horse for a deep run in Paris, with this looking like his match to lose against an intermittent opponent. World number 53 Miomir Kecmanovic beat Rune at the Stockholm Open two weeks ago but lost their rematch in Basel last week to bring a negative 25-28 record into Paris. The Serb, also 24, is capable of much better tennis than his current ranking suggests but at this moment in time Etcheverry is by far the more dependable player. Back the Argentine to win at least a set inside an accumulator or risk the outright on its own.

BETTING TIP: Tomas Martin Etcheverry to win a set.
