This could be a thrilling clash of styles between big-serving former number three Milos Raonic and world number seven Holger Rune as the pair meet for the first time. 33-year-old Raonic rode his luck in avoiding a first round encounter with Rafael Nadal, beating lucky loser Sumit Nagal comfortably in his stead, but a recent run to the quarter-finals of the Rotterdam Open was encouraging before his glass cannon of a body let him down once again against eventual champion Jannik Sinner last month. 20-year-old Rune has endured a really tough spell on tour practically ever since the start of the hardcourt swing last August but a run to the semi-finals of the Mexican Open last week was promising back under former coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
