MARTON FUCSOVICS VS STEFANOS TSITSIPAS PREDICTION

World number nine Stefanos Tsitsipas famously reached the final here back in 2021 and took the first two sets from Novak Djokovic before falling to an agonising defeat. The Greek has, arguably, not been the same player since on tour but he did rediscover his natural best on clay last month to win his third Monte-Carlo Masters title.

World number 53 Marton Fucsovics enjoyed a rare week of consistent form to win his second ATP title at the Bucharest Open last month but he has failed to win a match since. The Hungarian lost to Tsitsipas in comfortable straight sets at the Barcelona Open five years ago but he will be well aware that his opponent is currently both a dark horse for the title and an early exit risk.

Expect sets to go both ways if Tsitsipas cannot improve on recent performances but back the Greek to find a way through.
