THE PREDICTION
21-year-old Timofey Skatov claimed the first set from Marc-Andrea Huesler on Thursday before ultimately falling to defeat in three. The 26-year-old is a good, honest hard-courter who won all three of his ATP Cup fixtures this time last year as Poland’s number two but back Skatov to earn at least a set with a strong match in his legs already. Majchrzak last played competitively at the Bergamo Challenger two months ago.
