This looks like a potential upset in the second round between 22nd seed Francisco Cerundolo, who needed five sets t overcome Aussie wildcard Dane Sweeny on Sunday, and world number 67 Fabian Marozsan, who put out former finalist Marin Cilic. 25-year-old Cerundolo enjoyed another brilliant season in 2023, building on a strong breakthrough the season before, but he has started 2024 in concerning form to bring a three-match losing streak into the draw.
