The 24-year-old is the last Chilean standing now at the Chile Open and whilst he admittedly faced an out-of-sorts Garin, his defeat of Diego Schwartzman at the Cordoba Open to reach a first ATP tour final was nothing short of outstanding. World number 63 Miomir Kecmanovic will have to step up his intensity here in a first meeting with Tabilo with the crowd likely to be a wholly partisan affair. The 22-year-old reached the round of 16 at the Australian Open last month in a brief flash of the level he is capable of but recent wins over Laslo Djere and Lorenzo Sonego on clay put him at a strong working level in South America. Still, there is more than just a scent of an upset about this clash not least down to Tabilo’s heavy support in Santiago. Take the Chilean to win at least a set here.
