THE PREDICTION
World number 63 Camila Osorio claimed her first ever top 10 win this week in Tenerife by taking out the top seed Elina Svitolina from a set down on Tuesday. The Colombian has been threatening a run like this for some time but she has already won her first WTA title this season on home soil at the Bogota Open. She takes on Saisai Zheng with the 27-year-old Chinese putting in possibly her best result of the season too by beating the seventh seed Clara Tauson in three tough sets. Zheng claimed her only WTA title to date at the 2019 San Jose Open but with just one seed left in the draw this is a huge opportunity for both players to make a claim for a second title. Given that she beat Svitolina, favouring Osorio to win outright here seems the neatest way this one falls but taking her to win at least a set is the suitably cautious option.
