Switzerland Preview: PRESSURE ON YAKIN

Under the management of Murat Yakin, Switzerland have endured a very difficult few month during the autumn international break after reaching the quarter-final stages of UEFA EURO 2024 before a penalty shootout loss to England.

The Swiss have collected just one point from their opening four matches of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League as they sit rock-bottom in League A Group 4. Their most recent outing saw them share a 2-2 draw against Denmark in Copenhagen last month.

Serbia Preview: DIFFICULT SERBS

The Serbian FA have been being challenged for quite some time with Nemanja Vidic looking to displace manager Dragan Stojkovic. The Serbs have underperformed in the last few years and are involved in a League A relegation battle.

The visitors come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of European champions Spain in their most recent outing last month with goals coming from Aymeric Laporte, Alvaro Morata and Alex Baena.

Switzerland vs Serbia Prediction

This one could be quite an entertaining encounter for the neutral. Switzerland showed some really slick and cohesive attacking patterns of play during UEFA EURO 2024 and will likely get on the front foot against Serbia this week. Serbia, on the other hand, appear hapless at both ends but have the requisite quality to challenge in the attacking third so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

Switzerland vs Serbia Tip: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
