Scotland vs Argentina prediction

Scotland hearts were broken last weekend after they came so close to ending their 120-year wait for a win over New Zealand.

After a poor first half at Murrayfield, Scotland mounted a thrilling comeback in the second half, levelling the scores at one point, only for replacement full-black Damian McKenzie to score a superb try in the closing minutes for the All Blacks.

It's been a fine year for Argentina, who were strong throughout the Rugby Championship where they recorded victories over both New Zealand and Australia, and they began their Autumn Series with a resounding 52-28 win against Wales in Cardiff.

The Pumas scored seven tries in their victory in Cardiff, but they will be fully aware that they are likely to face a tougher test against Scotland on Sunday.

This is certainly a close one to call. Given Argentina's attacking nature, we're expecting plenty of points to be exchanged at Murrayfield, regardless of the winner.

Scotland vs Argentina tip: Over 50.5 points
