THE PREDICTION

After losing out to Highlanders in their previous outing, defending champions Crusaders were given another almighty scare as they were forced into extra-time against Hurricanes. The Crusaders needed to level the scores late on and they capitalised by edging the contest in the additional period to get back to winning ways. They will now look to solidify their position at the top of the standings as they face the Chiefs but it could be a tough challenge for the away side with the hosts winning three in a row. The Chiefs edged the Highlanders in an extra-time thriller of their own and while they may not be able to make it four straight wins, they can at least prevail with the benefit of an eight-point start.
