THE PREDICTION

Exeter Chiefs have lost three matches on the spin across all competitions to crash out of the Champions Cup and see their play-off hopes dashed. A 40-33 defeat at West Country rivals Bristol last time out was particularly troubling with their hosts struggling for form almost all season long and now their hopes at staying inside Champions Cup qualification look threatened by travelling Harlequins. The visitors beat Gloucester 28-24 last time out, bouncing back from a gut-wrenching 32-31 defeat at Northampton Saints that would have made it four wins on the spin. This could come a lot closer than some expect and backing the reigning champions to stun on the road with a hefty +5 head start could be the shrewd move.
