THE PREDICTION

In-form London Irish continue to surprise as they travel to Pau on a five-match unbeaten run across all competitions. They have lost just one of their last six Premiership games to move into mid-table with a win at Exeter, a draw at Saracens and then back-to-back victories since the international break some serious form indeed. Hosts Pau have lost just one match at home this season in a tight 33-37 defeat by leaders Bordeaux but they will find their visitors sparkling here with both sides likely to contribute well to a hefty final result. Taking London Irish to win and over 40 points in the match between two offence-first sides seems a reasonable option here.
