THE PREDICTION
After losing each of their first three Top 14 matches to potential title-contenders Toulouse, Racing 92 and Clermont, La Rochelle made it three wins from their last five with an unconvincing 6-8 victory at Brive last Saturday. They overcame boos from their travelling fans at Brive and will hope to avoid more at home to Toulon, who will smell blood here. The visitors are yet to win away from home, though, and they are struggling overall with just two wins from their seven matches played. La Rochelle have won each of the last three meetings with Toulon but in their current form it could come a lot closer than expected. They won by margins of 14 and 18 last season but -8 looks a suitably cautious target this time around.
