- Catalans Dragons bounced back from their opening round loss to St. Helens by overcoming Wakefield Trinity last week but it was a far from convincing victory and the French side will need to be much better if they are to make it back-to-back wins.

Leeds Rhinos will be desperate to atone for last week’s poor showing at Wigan Warriors but face a tricky task against Catalans Dragons. Last season’s runners-up got off the mark for the campaign with a narrow success over Wakefield Trinity last week but they too know there is plenty of room for improvement. The Dragons may struggle for yardage with no less than four props sitting out this contest and while the Rhinos will hope to capitalise, they too have injury woes. That could turn this into a scrappy affair with points likely to be at a premium so expect a low-scoring contest which yields no more than 38 points.
