- Warrington Wolves bounced back from their loss to St. Helens by overcoming Wigan Warriors in a low-scoring clash last week with the Wolves doing what they needed to claim a 10-6 win.
- Despite managing just ten points in that game, Wire looked fairly comfortable throughout but they will be desperate to produce some more fluent attacking play here as they aim to build some momentum ahead of the play-offs.

- Salford Red Devils were unable to build on their impressive win over Hull FC as they succumbed to a disappointing loss to a weakened Castleford Tigers outfit in last week’s Magic Weekend clash.
- The Red Devils struggled to defend their line and wilted when the Tigers carried the ball strongly near their line with that being one key area for improvement here.

THE PREDICTION
Warrington Wolves showed some defensive steel to limit Wigan Warriors
to just six points in last week’s win. That was a welcome return to
winning ways after going down to St. Helens in their previous contest
but they will be eager to make some improvements with the ball here
after they only managed to score ten for themselves against the
Warriors. They take on Salford Red Devils who come into this on the back
of three losses in four after an underwhelming effort against
Castleford Tigers last week and if they do not fix up their goalline
defence, it could be a long afternoon for Salford who look set to lose
by at least 14 points.
