- Salford Red Devils produced a poor performance on both sides of the ball as they were nilled by champions St. Helens but they will have been extremely frustrated with their second half effort in particular.

THE PREDICTION
Salford Red Devils have made a poor start to the season under head coach Richard Marshall and in their quest to record just a second success of their league campaign, they face the tricky task of hosting unbeaten Wigan Warriors. The away side have won all six of their Super League games so far this term and with their defence proving relatively difficult to break down, Salford’s profligate attack could be in for a long afternoon. They are missing a couple of playmakers in Kevin Brown and Dan Sarginson and they are unlikely to score enough points to trouble the Warriors who should be able to win this by 13+ points.
