THE PREDICTION
Leigh will aim to give their home crowd something to cheer about as
they play at Leigh Sports Village for the final time in what has been a
wretched season. They have managed just one success which has resulted
in immediate relegation back to the Championship but they know they can
offer more than they showed in last week’s loss to Hull KR. They
defended solidly in the first half but crumbled in the second to suffer a
heavy defeat and they now face an in-form Wakefield Trinity outfit.
They made it four wins in five matches under interim boss Willie Poching
thanks to a win over Huddersfield Giants at Magic Weekend and they
should surely claim another victory in this one.
