- Leigh Centurions produced another solid showing in the first half of their clash with Wigan Warriors earlier in the week but they could not match it in the second as they succumbed to yet another loss.
- The Centurions remain winless in 2021 with their return to Super League not going as planned having failed to go on with Wigan despite opening up a 10-0 lead against the Warriors, as well as going in 16-16 at the break, ultimately going down 16-30.

- Huddersfield Giants earned a brilliant win over Warrington Wolves on Monday but they were given an almighty scare in the second half and Ian Watson will be keen to see his side produce an 80-minute effort here.
- The Giants were superb as they raced into a 20-point lead at the break having kept the Wolves scoreless but Warrington fought back to within two points and it needed a late Kenny Edwards try to ensure Huddersfield made it back-to-back Super League wins.

The away side have won back-to-back Super League matches, their first two wins of the campaign and now arrive here full of confidence. The Centurions have shown that they can compete in spells but they are yet to put in a complete display and until they can do that, they are likely to suffer yet another loss in this one.
