- Leeds Rhinos earned just their second win of the season thanks to edging Wakefield Trinity in Golden Point last week but the Rhinos will need to improve on that showing if they are to come out on top again here.
- Wakefield remain the only side that Leeds have beaten so far this year but they will at least take some confidence from that narrow success and will be buoyed further by the return of Richie Myler and Zane Tetevano who have both served their respective bans.

- Hull FC could not back-up their excellent Challenge Cup quarter-final success against Wigan Warriors as they suffered a second consecutive loss in Super League with Catalans Dragons getting the better of them earlier in the week.
- It is a short turnaround for the Black and Whites to bounce back from that disappointment with Catalans’ physical pack getting the better of them through the middle and they will want to avoid being sucked into a similar battle here.

THE PREDICTION
Leeds Rhinos will look to build on their win over Wakefield Trinity as they attempt to get themselves back into top six contention but they will have to improve on what was an error-strewn performance last week. They overcame Trinity in Golden Point but Wakefield remain the only side that the Rhinos have defeated this year so this is a big task for them. Hull FC generally struggle at Headingley against the Rhinos and the hosts will look to take advantage of that, especially with the return of fans for this contest. Hull lost a second consecutive Super League game as they went down to Catalans Dragons earlier in the week and they are under some pressure to respond here but they are capable of bouncing back by condemning Leeds to fifth league defeat of the campaign.
