THE PREDICTION
Hull KR suffered a bitterly disappointing defeat as they allowed
Wakefield Trinity to claim their first win of the season. Rovers went
into that game with three wins from their last four games but found
themselves 22-0 down at one point and with Korbin Sims receiving his
marching orders, they were unable to force their way back into the game.
They will hope for a greatly improved performance back on home soil and
they have the perfect chance to respond against winless Leigh
Centurions. The away side produced another woeful second half effort
last week as they were hammered 6-44 by Huddersfield Giants despite
trailing by just four points at the break. With Rovers likely to be
fully focused on putting on a performance back in front of their fans
for the first time this year, especially after last week’s poor showing,
Leigh could be in big trouble here and the hosts can cover the -14
handicap.
