- Catalans Dragons produced arguably their most complete performance of the season as they were able to overcome Hull FC and lay down a real marker for the competition with their victory on Monday.
- The Dragons will now return to home soil as they look to build on their 5-1 start to the campaign and if they are to upset St. Helens, it is their attacking flair that will be relied on with the French side coming into this having scored 164 points so far, the joint-most of any side in Super League so far this season.

- The reigning champions were wasteful in the first half as they managed to amass just a 6-0 lead in that clash but they improved in the second half to run out 28-0 winners in what was at least a very competent defensive display across the entire 80 minutes.

THE PREDICTION
This is an intriguing clash between two teams that ended Round 6 in the top three of Super League as defending champions St. Helens head to the south of France to take on a Catalans Dragons side with just one loss to their name in the league so far this year. Leaders Saints have won all of their games which leaves little to separate the two with this clash seemingly set to be decided between the quality of the Catalans attack and the St. Helens defence. The Dragons are the joint-top scorers after six games while Saints have conceded just 34 points so far, the lowest total in Super League by some 38 points. Saints’ defensive resolve will be crucial here and while this could go either way, their defensive efforts should lead to a low-scoring affair with under 44.5 points likely.
