Castleford Tigers have discovered a gritty resolve this season after earning their second win by means of Golden Point as they edged Salford Red Devils to book their spot in the Challenge Cup semi-finals last week. That continued the Tigers’ strong start to the year with them losing just once in all competitions and they will look to improve on that record as they host Hull KR. Rovers have improved as the season has progressed but that came to a shuddering halt in the second half of their last outing against Warrington Wolves. Defensive work will have been on the agenda since that loss and the extended break should have done them some good but Cas are proving difficult to beat this year and the hosts should be able to win by at least ten points.
