  • South Sydney Rabbitohs made it nine wins in a row and did so in superb fashion as they overcame top four rivals Parramatta Eels thanks to an impressive attacking display in which they ran in 40 points.
  • The Rabbitohs have now averaged 50 points per game in across their last three matches and if they can continue that form ahead of the finals, they are going to be right in the mix for a spot in the Grand Final.

GOLD COAST TITANS

Starting 13: Brimson, Marzhew, Kelly, Herbert, Thompson, Taylor, Sexton, Wallace, Rein, Fotuaika, Proctor, Fermor, Fa’asuamaleaui – Interchanges: Fifita, Peachey, Lisone, Jolliffe – Reserves: Clark, McIntyre, Marsters, Fogarty

Unavailable: Phillip Sami (Injured), Jayden Campbell (Injured)

  • Gold Coast Titans made it three successive victories thanks to an eye-catching attacking performance against North Queensland Cowboys last week and another victory here would significantly boost their hopes of making the finals.
  • The Titans begin the round in seventh spot but there are just two points separating five teams in the race for the final two places in the top eight and every point will be vital in their quest to make the play-offs.

THE PREDICTION

South Sydney Rabbitohs laid down a marker with a dominant performance against another top four side as they tore apart Parramatta Eels last week. They have looked devastating with the ball in recent matches and continue to run rampant down their left edge where they have enjoyed so much success throughout the season. They will now go in search of a tenth successive victory as they take on a Gold Coast Titans outfit with three wins in a row which has put them right into finals contention and after they looked also superb with the ball in their win over North Queensland Cowboys last week, this is likely to be a high-scoring contest with at least 50 points set to be scored.
