- Parramatta Eels continued their impressive start to the year as they moved to 9-1 with a relatively straightforward win over New Zealand Warriors last week, although they had to hold on late in the contest.
- Having led 6-28, the Warriors pulled back to within ten points and threatened to pressure the Eels but a try from debutant Jakob Arthur sealed the victory for Parramatta who will be confident of extending their winning streak to six matches.

- Manly Sea Eagles’ superb turnaround in form continued as they blew Brisbane Broncos away last week thanks to a devastating attacking display in which they took advantage of the Broncos’ ill-discipline which saw them reduced to 11 at one point.
- The Sea Eagles ran in eight tries in the 50-6 success despite losing five-eighth Kieran Foran in the opening minutes of that contest but in a blow for Manly, the veteran is out of this clash as well as back-up Cade Cust so Josh Schuster shifts to the halves.
THE PREDICTION
Two in-form teams will do battle here as Parramatta Eels host Manly Sea Eagles in an intriguing clash to wrap-up Round 11. The Eels have won their last five matches while it is five wins in six for the Sea Eagles and the visitors will believe they can cause an upset here. They will have to overcome some strife in the five-eighth position if they are to do so but Tom Trbojevic continuing to pull the strings, this could be a season-defining game for Manly as they look to keep up the pressure on the sides above them. Parramatta are difficult to beat at Bankwest and while they may have too much for the away side, Manly can prevail with the benefit of a ten-point start on the handicap.
