- Melbourne Storm sent out a message to the rest of the competition as they demolished top four rivals South Sydney Rabbitohs in what was a ruthless attacking display with Josh Addo-Carr stealing the headlines with a magnificent six-try effort.
- The Storm were 0-50 winners in that clash as they ran in ten tries but in their efforts to earn a seventh successive victory in this one, Melbourne have lost influential trio Brandon Smith, Cameron Munster and Harry Grant, although they could be boosted by the return of Ryan Papenhuyzen.

- St. George Illawarra Dragons avoided a fourth straight loss as they overcame bottom of the ladder Canterbury Bulldogs but it took until the second half until Anthony Griffin’s side came to life.
- The Dragons led just 6-0 at the break but the penny finally dropped for them as they ultimately ran out 32-12 winners and while this is a much tougher test, they will be buoyed by how they finished that contest.
THE PREDICTION
Melbourne Storm produced the biggest shock scoreline in the league so far this year as they annihilated South Sydney Rabbitohs in a ten-try romp. They nilled their opponents in a devastating attacking display but they must now do without a key trio of talent as they take on St. George Illawarra Dragons. The Storm have won their last six matches and look a real threat towards the top of the ladder but the Dragons will smell blood having ended a three-match losing streak last week. They will believe they can get the better of the under-strength side but the Storm have historically performed well at Suncorp and they should still have too much for their opponents.
