THE TEAM NEWS
GOLD COAST TITANS
Starting 13: Brimson, Don, Kelly, Herbert, Thompson, Taylor, Fogarty, Wallace, Rein, Fotuaika, Proctor, Fifita, Peachey – Interchanges: Clark, Jolliffe, Lisone, McIntyre – Reserves: Fermor, Ese’ese, Pearson, Sami

- Gold Coast Titans produced a terrible display on both sides of the ball as they were nilled by Manly Sea Eagles last week and Justin Holbrook’s side will need to make huge improvements if they are to avoid a second consecutive loss.
- Despite seeing plenty of the ball in the Manly 20, Gold Coast were unable to post a single point as their execution let them down while they shipped 36 points at the other end and in their bid to respond here, they will be without key forward Tino Fa’asuamaleaui who is banned.
SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS
Starting 13: Johnston, Gagai, Marsters, Graham, Paulo, Walker, Reynolds, Burgess, Cook, Tatola, Koloamatangi, Su’A, Murray – Interchanges: Marshall, Nicholls, Knight, Arrow – Reserves: Host, Mago, Hawkins, Sele
Unavailable: Blake Taaffe (Injured), Taane Milne (Injured), Braidon Burns (Injured), Jed Cartwright (Injured), Brock Gardner (Injured), Latrell Mitchell (Suspended), Josh Mansour (Injured)
- South Sydney Rabbitohs needed Golden Point to see off Wests Tigers last week as their lacklustre performance was almost punished but George Burgess’ dramatic try sealed a fifth successive victory for Souths.
- Wayne Bennett’s side will believe they can record a sixth straight win here but they have been forced into a backline reshuffle with fullback Latrell Mitchell banned for four matches after he was charged with making dangerous contact against Wests.
THE PREDICTION
Both of these teams come into this clash with something to prove but for different reasons. Gold Coast Titans were on the end of an embarrassing loss to Manly Sea Eagles last week and they have issues to fix both on and off the ball. South Sydney Rabbitohs on the other hand made it five wins in a row with a thrilling Golden Point success over Wests Tigers last week but they were not at their free-flowing best in that game and must improve with the ball. The loss of the suspended Latrell Mitchell is a huge one in terms of the Bunnies’ attacking structure but the away side should still have enough attacking quality to make it five successive wins over Gold Coast.
