- Gold Coast Titans ended a three-match losing streak as they defeated Wests Tigers last week but Justin Holbrook’s side once again showed their best side as well as their worst with them conceding 28 points in victory.
- They have now conceded at least that total in their last four matches and it is a worrying trait that they need to work on, especially in this clash with league leaders Penrith Panthers who should be able to limit the amount of points that the Titans score.

- Penrith Panthers once again looked unstoppable as they produced another bruising defensive display while they dazzled with the ball in a 48-0 blitz of Cronulla Sharks to extend their winning streak to nine matches.
- That was the third time this season that the Panthers kept their opponents scoreless and having conceded just 60 points from nine games as well as scoring 260 in the process, their points difference of +200 is incredible at this early stage of the season.
THE PREDICTION
Gold Coast Titans showed their attacking prowess in abundance once again last week as they earned the win over Wests Tigers but they will need to improve significantly on the other side of the ball if they are to earn a shock win over top of the ladder Penrith Panthers. The unbeaten side from the foot of the Mountains looked imperious once again as they crushed Cronulla Sharks 48-0 last week and their qualities on both sides of the ball continue to flourish. The Titans meanwhile continue to leak points and having allowed at least 28 in each of their last four games, it is difficult to envisage them getting 20 points of their opponents.
