Romania vs Uruguay prediction

Romania were defeated 26-18 by USA in Bucharest last weekend, with ill-discipline - so often their downfall - costing them in the crucial moments.

Uruguay beat Portugal 26-8 in Lisbon two weeks ago and followed that up with a 45-21 loss to a New Zealand XV side last weekend.

These two sides met as recently as July with Uruguay recording a record-breaking 70-8 win, which was Uruguay's biggest-ever victory against a Tier 2 nation, as well as being Romania's heaviest defeat against a Tier 2 side.

Romania will have revenge on their minds here but Uruguay are an emerging force in world rugby and we fancy them to prevail once more. It is unlikely to be as one-sided though, given that Romania head coach David Gerard has picked a stronger squad for this match, compared to the July mauling.
