the Atlanta Falcons to run out 32-6 winners. Led by QB Jalen Hurts, the
Eagles showed plenty of good qualities on both sides of the ball and
they will feel that a much better season is on the cards after
stuttering to 4-11-1 last year. This will be a test of their credentials
as they go up against San Francisco 49ers, a team that looked
impressive on offense last week as they racked up 41 points in a victory
over Detroit Lions. The 49ers looked set for a huge win but almost
allowed the Lions to work their way back into the game and ended up
winning by just eight points which will be a slight concern. With a
stronger looking offense than the Lions, the Eagles will feel they can
capitalise here and the home team can cause an upset to make it three straight wins in matchups with San Francisco.
