New York City vs Philadelphia Union prediction
New York City FC begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference. NYCFC come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home, though, against Necaxa in the league phase of the CONCACAF Leagues Cup.
Philadelphia Union had been struggling in the Eastern Conference but a 3-2 win against Atlanta United earlier this month was then followed by strong performances against Cruz Azul and Necaxa before a defeat to Santos Laguna.
Philly’s performance level had improved prior to that loss to Santos Laguna and now NYCFC will again be confident of eventually easing past them at the Yankee Stadium.
