The overseas UFC on ABC 6 card gives Sharabutdin Magomedov (12-0) the opportunity to make his second UFC appearance. Although he does not have any notable wins on the record, he arrived to the big time with a lot of hype. He was handed Bruno Silva (2023) on debut and although it was not a vintage knockout, he earnt a solid unanimous decision to maintain his stock and unbeaten record.

Joilton Lutterbach (38-9(1)) is the man being fed to the prospect for his UFC debut. He has a wealth of experience with 48 pro fights in the bank. He does not have any notable wins on the record either but is riding a four-fight win streak including two knockouts and a submission coming off a decision over Andreas Gustafsson (2023) for Brave FC.

Magomedov has a lot of hype behind him for a reason. He is a vicious striker with speed, power and a lot of aggression. He comes from a kickboxing background Is is very dynamic.

Lutterbach needs to avoid the threat on the feet and get the fight to the ground. It is the only weakness in Magomedov’s game and he has 13 submissions on the record. He can hold his own on the feet and also possess knockout power, but if he relies on his striking, he is getting knocked out.

Lutterbach is worth a punt simply due to the experience and grappling discrepancy. However, we expect the kicks and knees of the Russian to make the difference when the Brazilian tries to close the distance.

Prediction: Magomedov via KO/TKO

Value Bet: Lutterbach via Submission
