Ireland vs Australia prediction

Although Ireland's 41-10 defeat of Japan last weekend may look comfortable on paper, it certainly didn't play out that way. Japan caused Andy Farrell's side plenty of problems and it took three late Irish tries to add the gloss to what was a fairly underwhelming performance.

Serious questions are being asked of Australia head coach Joe Schmidt, meanwhile, after the Wallabies slumped to a 26-19 defeat Italy in Udine last Saturday.

Having also lost to England a week prior, the southern hemisphere side have now lost five of their last six Tests, and former Ireland head coach Schmidt is under serious pressure.

Although they weren't at their best against Japan, we're expecting a stronger Ireland this time around, with the hosts tipped to add more pressure on their former boss' shoulders.
