THE PREDICTION
Secret Reprieve will be looking to make it back-to-back Welsh Grand National victories. The Evan Williams horse has been missing since that success but has every chance to repeat that win with more to come from the lightly-raced seven-year-old. Secret Reprieve is one of four previous winners taking to the field with Colin Tizzard’s Elegant Escape another looking to record another victory in a race he won back in 2018 but he has spent a large chunk of the last two years off the track and will need to be at his very best to go close here. Highland Hunter looks like he will appreciate this step up in trip and having got his season off to a good start by edging Deise Aba at Sandown, another big run is in the offing here.
