Despite losing at the quarter-final stage against Gian van Veen last week, Jonny Clayton is already assured of reaching the play-offs, and his only remaining goal now will be to finish top of the table, with Luke Littler two points ahead of him heading into Night 14.

The Ferret chose to skip the Players Championship double-header this week, as did compatriot Gerwyn Price, whom he faces in the opening quarter-final in Leeds.

Price ended his three-game Premier League losing streak last week by squeezing past Stephen Bunting in Aberdeen, only to come unstuck in the semi-finals against Littler - his sixth defeat against the world champion in this year's Premier League.
