THE KEY STATS

  • Antwerp have won only one of their last 12 UEFA club competition group stage matches (D2 L9).
  • Antwerp have lost their previous five UEFA Champions League group stage matches this season.
  • Antwerp have lost their previous three UEFA club competition matches against Spanish teams.
  • Barcelona have won five of their last six UEFA Champions League group stage matches (L1).
  • Barcelona have won nine of their last 11 UEFA club competition matches against Belgian teams (D1 L1).
  • Barcelona have lost their Matchday 6 fixture in only two of their last 14 UEFA Champions League group stage campaigns (W9 D3).

THE PREDICTION

Antwerp have struggled in their debut Champions League campaign and have nothing but pride to play for here, with the Belgian side sitting on zero points after their five games played. Barcelona are all but mathematically guaranteed to finish top of Group H, and should run out comfortable winners here, just as they did when they beat Antwerp 5-0 at the Nou Camp when the teams last met. Another win to nil for the Catalan giants is expected.

TIP: BARCELONA TO WIN TO NIL
