Both these sides are at the wrong end of the Scottish premiership table but exhibiting some promising form as both St. Mirren and St. Johnstone have just one loss from their last five in the league. It must be said, though, that St. Mirren have had the better time of it after such a punishing run of form previously saw them at the foot of the table and their 0-1 win away at fifth-placed Motherwell last time out is a trend in the right direction. However, despite losing to Livingston at home last weekend, St. Johnstone have held both Celtic and high-flying Hibernian to draws in the past few weeks. A result looks a tough one to call, especially as St. Mirren’s best form has been away from home recently. Both teams are likely to score, like in St Johnstone’s last four matches, and draw no bet in favour of St. Mirren might be the best option to combine with that.
