THE LOWDOWN
PSG
Luis Enrique is in charge of a Paris Saint-Germain seeking to win yet another French title but potentially sending Kylian Mbappe off to Real Madrid with a fairytale ending as they aim to win a historic first ever treble. The Parisiens continued their dream of that when they edged past Stade Rennais by a goal to nil in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.
PSG do have the distraction of facing Barcelona at Parc des Princes in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday evening. However, they could cruise through the rest of this Ligue 1 campaign without paying much attention to performances and still win the league quite comfortably.
CLERMONT
Rock-bottom Clermont are still Ligue 2-bound but, after persisting and sticking by manager Pascal Gastien, the team that have punched above their weight for nearly half a decade now showed a bit of fight before the March international break with a surprise 2-1 defeat of fellow strugglers, Le Havre.
They do now, though, come into this one on the back of being thumped 3-0 by Toulouse last weekend at Stade Gabriel Montpied with a brace from Vincent Sierro as well as a goal scored by Thijs Dallinga. They begin the weekend sitting six points adrift of Lorient in the relegation playoff places.

THE PREDICTION
PSG’s 1-0 defeat of Rennes in midweek followed a 2-0 victory over Olympique de Marseille in Le Classique at Stade Velodrome last weekend and means they are now unbeaten in their last 26 matches across all competitions since losing to AC Milan in early November. They have been in impeccable form for quite some time now and welcome rock-bottom Clermont to the capital for what is expected to be an annihilation.
TIP: PSG TO WIN -2 HANDICAP
